BANGIYA PARISHAD MUSCAT
Bangiya Parishad, the Bengali linguistic wing of Indian Social Club, Oman; is a community organization to serve the socio-cultural interests of Bengali diaspora of Muscat, upholding the rich tradition of India and in particular Bengal, through its range of activities in the greater interest of the community. Throughout its memorable journey since inception in 1983, the Parishad has gathered momentum and strength by dint of a maze of events and all round participation from its members and guest artistes, to cater to the discerning Bengali audience of Muscat.
Many of the events hosted by the Parishad have earned deep appreciation from the fraternity for its rich texture, finesse in presentation and most importantly, showcasing the talent pool of its members in maintaining the heritage of Bengal and our country.
Bangiya Parishad also engages in community service activities, periodically within its limits, as a part of corporate social responsibility.
